UNDERSTANDING COURT- CONNECTED MEDIATION & RESTORATIVE JUSTICE
As an integral part of “Providing Access to Quality Justice”, the Judiciary of the Turks and Caicos Islands, has recently introduced Mediation into justice delivery. In addition, the Judiciary is also giving priority to Restorative Justice, a reparative approach to dispute resolution that focuses on the needs of the victims and the offenders. The TCI Mediation Centre was officially opened on July 15th, 2022.
