To enhance the learning experience of those persons who visit our website including reporter and journalists, we would like to publish certain court cases as soon they become available. And at times, we would like to highlight and comment on certain judicial precedents. Therefore, may we kindly request a slight modification to the website. Under Publications and Policies, could you please create a submenu called “COURT CASES”. We will send court cases and ask you please to post them under that heading. May we also kindly ask for a space or a box to be created where were we can briefly comment on each judgment.

Case introduction: SUPREME COURT REFUSED TO QUASH INFORMATION AMENDMENTS TO CHARGES OF CORRUPTION AND MISCONDUCT AGAINST FORMER DIRECTOR OF TOURISM.

Case introduction: WORLD-WIDE WARRANT OF ARREST ISSUED AGAINST DAVID LIT FOR ABSCONDING BAIL

Comments: Mother and Son forfeited a total of US$65,765.00 to the TCIG for failing to produce a defendant, David Lit, in Court as his sureties. David Lit was charged with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply; and for escaping from lawful custody.  Mr. Lit was granted bail but he absconded. A world-wide warrant of arrest has since been issued against Mr. Lit.
